Lac Seul (translated from French as “Lake Alone”) is a large inland lake situated on the Canadian Shield within an area known as northwestern Ontario. Lac Seul has a shoreline distance of 4800 kilometers (3000 miles) which is equal to the distance from Toronto, ON to Victoria, B.C.). Filled with twists and turns, this shoreline consists of several inlets, bays and connecting narrows that create many nooks and crannies. This natural layout provides numerous opportunities to explore and discover the special places that exist throughout Lac Seul.
